today I would like to talk about thyroid gland, which is visible or palpable, is called goiter. From the point of view of Chinese medicine, every goiter is always a stagnation of internal mucus in the neck area. There are 2 types :
1. The cold knot is most often formed due to insufficient of the spleen and kidneys . 2. A hot knot, on the other hand, is formed due to overloading the liver, which “dries out” due to overheating and thickens into the mucus , which settles again in the thyroid gland. Nodule is accompanied by symptoms such as mental restlessness, irritability, insomnia, thirst, feeling hot, red eyes..
As you can notice in Chinese medicine the problem is almost never exactly where you can see it.
From the point of view of modern medicine, the whole hormonal area is a bit shrouded in mystery and quite complicated, sometimes even for an expert. Endocrinologists, the doctors who deal with endocrine glands usually give supplement hormones in the long run, if not for life and even better remove it.
