Depression, but also sadness, moodiness,anxiety, frustration, worries, anger, (we could gradually list all the negative emotions…) – these are all typical manifestations of the stagnation of energy. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the spirit is in the liver and its proper function is manifested by mental strength, so-called liveliness, creativity, ideas, purposefulness, realized ideas, inspiration, planning, determination, courage and self-direction.
At a time when the mind residing in the heart is not sufficiently receiving this “drive” due to stagnant energy. Most often affects the liver, lungs, heart and stomach (or spleen), is due to excessive emotions.
